Alessandro Mezzadri Violin turns up…after 40 years in a cupboard!

mezz-violinOne of probably only 100 Mezzadri vilolins has turned up after being kept in a New York bedroom cupboard for 40 years. Alessandro Mezzadri was a violin maker in Northern Italy in the early 1700s. Valued at $100,000 the 275 year old violin belonged to George Szabo and was kept at home by his wide Kathleen after his death.
